Marie Wisliene Jean-Philippe of Roslindale, was born to proud parents Willy Jean Felix and Emacula Charles in Port au Prince Haiti on November 13, 1959, and passed away on August 13, 2019. Loving mother of Lenelle Moise, Kenneth R. Nord, Wesley Jean-Philippe and Favioah Jean-Philippe. Sister of Berlino Felix. Marie was a proud Christian and member of Temple Salem Seventh Day Adventist Church of Dorchester. She frequently spent her time by doing seminars for young couples in her church and community. Marie was the health department secretary in her congregation. SHe volunteered in the children department by planning activities, playing games and reading stories.
Marie always strived to be herself even when she was disabled. She received her Medical Assistant Nursig Assistant and Medical Technician Certification. She later chose a more passionate field of work and she became a nanny. Marie believed as a Christian she has so much to offer and working with children became her goal to one day open "The greatest Daycare Center where children will learn and be loved.
Family and friends will Celebrate Marie's Life by gathering for Visiting hours in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale on Thursday July 29th from 7-9 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday August 30th, at Temple Salem Seventh Day Adventist Church, 222 Woodrow Ave., Dorchester at 10 am. Interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
