Carol A. Perrotto, 76

Dateline: Norton, MA

Carol A. (Nolan) Perrotto, age 76, of Norton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the former wife of the late Salvatore J. Perrotto, Sr.

Born in Brooklyn, New York on October 28, 1942, she was a loving daughter of the late James and Genevieve (Thornton) Nolan.

Carol grew up and was educated in Brooklyn, New York. She had made her home in Norton for the past thirty-one years and was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family.

A communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton, Carol’s favorite times by far were those spent in the presence of her devoted children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo on Friday nights at Saint Mary’s Church and the simple pleasures of relaxing and enjoying life to its fullest. She was affectionately known as "Nana" and will truly be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her loving children: Jeanne Soderquist of Nebraska, Salvatore Perrotto, Jr. and his wife Linda of Billerica, Louann Stanley and her husband Neil of Norton and Doreen Hansen and her husband John of Florida. She was the cherished grandmother of Krystal, Nicholas, Salvatore, III, Anthony, Joseph, Joshua, Amber, Jennifer, Christine and Jason and the great grandmother of ten, including twins Vivian and Thomas. She was the dear sister of James Nolan and the late Kathy and Jeanne.

Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Friday July 12th at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will follow at the Newland Cemetery in Norton.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 11th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

In lieu of flowers, Carol’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
