ANTOGNETTI, Ermindo of Dedham passed away at home June 12, 2019. Age 91. Beloved husband of Giuseppina (Pezzuto) Antognetti for 59 years. Son of the late Filippo and Giovannina (DiFalco) Antognetti. Loving father of Giovanna Antognetti and son-in law Mathew J. Ashe of Foxboro, Rita Emerson and her husband Clay of Orlando FL, Philip Antognetti of Milton, and Michele Antognetti and his wife Laurie Grant of Lee NH. Devoted nonno of Peter Antognetti and Benjamin Antognetti, both of Lee NH. Loving brother of Marie Packert and her husband Raymond of Las Vegas NV, and Carmela Vietze and her husband Arthur of Stratford CT. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A long-time resident of Dedham, Ermindo was born in Casalbordino, Italy and immigrated to the United States at the age of 3. He graduated from Dedham High School with the class of 1946, served in the U.S. Army and attended Franklin Institute of Technology. He worked in the construction industry for much of his life and was a talented stone mason.
Visiting Hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Sunday, June 16 from 1-4pm. Service at the Funeral Home Monday, June 17 at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
