Carol Jean Meders, 69, of Omega passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at her residence. A graveside memorial service will be held for Ms. Meders on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. at Omega Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest.
Born January 14, 1950 in Omega, Ms. Meders was the daughter of the late Henry Meders and Addie Lee Fletcher Meders. She was also preceded in death by one brother, James Meders; and four sisters, Laverne Brooks, Wardine McMillan, Barbara Smith and Marilyn Meders. Before retiring, she worked in the accounting department at HeatCraft in Tifton. She was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Meders is survived by two brothers, Henry Meders of Omega and Walter Meders of Grand Junction, Colorado; one sister, Helen Revels of Jacksonville, Florida; and many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews, whom she loved dearly.
