Paul L. Madeiros of Medford died on Tuesday, April 23. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Somerville, son of the late Manuel and Bertha (Price) Madeiros. Paul proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War, after which he returned to Medford where he worked for the U.S. Postal Service. He loved spending time at his vacation home in Sanbornton (Hermit Lake) New Hampshire, and in Aruba.
Paul was the beloved husband of Shirley (Niles) Roderick Madeiros of Medford, and the father of Paul L. Madeiros Jr. of Charlestown. He was the step-father of Shawn Roderick and his girlfriend Jeanne Hipke of Acton, and Shannon Hardy and her husband Kevin of Dracut. Paul was the loving grandfather of Zackary Paul, Makensie, Jordyn, Krista and Morgan, and is also survived by his cousin George Price and family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 3 PM at the Sanbornton cottage. Family and close friends are invited to attend.
