Helen T. Finn, Lifelong resident of Medford, passed away Friday, April 19th. She was 89. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Julia (Pyne) Finn. She was a dedicated employee of Gillette. She established many lifelong friendships with her co-workers, right up to her retirement.
Helen loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Helen's family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed listening to all of the stories that they shared with her. When Helen was not spending time with her family, you could find her crocheting or watching her favorite hockey team on TV, the Boston Bruins.
Helen was the dear sister of the late Edward and Geoffrey Finn. She was the loving aunt of Edward Finn and his wife Sandra, Loretta Porecca and her husband Ron, Julie McCarriston and her husband Mark, Daniel Finn and his wife Andrea, and David Finn and his wife Meegan, and the Great-aunt of Ian, Alec, Cameron, Loren, Meaghan, Sarah, Nolan, Andrew, Thomas, Emily and James. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, April 26th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 6 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
