Deirdre A. "Dee" (Healy) Ferrero, 71, of South Dartmouth died Tuesday, March 26, 2019 unexpectedly at home. She was the wife of Ronald J. Ferrero, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Leonard T. and Kathleen M. (Hines) Healy, she lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth for most of her life.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, Class of 1965.
Dee enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and dining out with her husband at various local establishments.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; three children, Keary Moroney and her husband William of New Bedford, Erin Scheidt and her husband Michael of Scottsdale, AZ, and Ronald Ferrero, Jr. and his wife Charity of Fairhaven; seven grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Samantha, Frankie, Ava, Kelsey, and Amelia; her brother, Shawn C. Healy and his wife Barbara; her sister, Mary K. Parker; her sister-in-law, Jane Healy; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Michael P. Healy.
