Anthony F. Staffier, Jr. of Medford died on Monday, March 11. A lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Anthony F. and Angelina (Zaccardo) Staffier. Anthony was a graduate of Medford High School where he played football, winning many awards. He worked for the Medford school system for many years, and was awarded a citation for heroism for saving the life of a child.
Anthony was the dear brother of Ralph Staffier and his wife Susan of San Antonio, TX, and the loving uncle of Christine Palomera and her husband Timothy, and Andrew Staffier and his wife Sheryl, all of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by seven loving great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, March 20 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, March 19, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
