Evelyn Rose (Towne) Scannell, age 82, of Tewksbury, formerly of Wakefield and Somerville, passed away March 9, 2019. Daughter of the late Annie and Eugene Towne. Beloved wife of 58 years to William Scannell of Tewksbury. Mother of William Scannell of Anchorage, AK, Patricia Price of Westford, and Paul Scannell of San Rafael, CA. Grandmother of 7. Sister of Lorraine Brackett of Green Valley, AZ and the late Eugene, Robert, Helen, Hazel, George, Wesley, Doris, Thelma, Edna, and Beverly. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held at a later time with family and friends.
