FALL RIVER… Robert A. Plourde, 77, of Fall River passed away March 2, 2019 at Crawford Health & Rehabilitation.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Bernard and Albina (Guay) Plourde and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Plourde worked for many years as a Corrections Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church and had enjoyed watching TV and shopping.
Survivors include his daughter: Carrie Jarabek of Fall River; his sons: Robert A. Plourde, Jr. of RI, Dominick P. Plourde of New Bedford, Noel B. Plourde of Pawtucket and Jason G. Plourde of Somerset; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Roland Plourde.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 11 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9 - 11 AM, prior to the funeral.
