Peter Christian Cozzi of Provincetown, passed away peacefully Friday, March 1st at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, with his sisters and brother-in-law at his side.
Peter was born on February 22, 1952 to Ciriaco Cozzi and Ero Mihos of Provincetown.
Peter had a big personality and an even bigger heart and spirit of generosity. His greatest desire was to be able to help others. His greatest love was family and friends. Peter had many talents and was a keen observer of those around him. These abilities were particularly apparent in his cartoons and writings, in which he addressed the more difficult issues in his life with humor.
Peter leaves behind his sisters Theo Poulin of Provincetown, Michaele Cozzi of Superior, Arizona, and Alethea Cozzi of West Yarmouth and their husbands Randy Poulin, James Schenck, and Ivor Overmeyer; his nephews Andrew Czyoski and Brandon Czyoski of Truro, and Liam Overmeyer of Walpole, MA; his great nephew Nathaniel Czyoski of Eastham, and great niece Alexis Czyoski of Truro.
Peter will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the First Congregational Parish Cemetery in Truro.
