Obituary

Constance B. Wilkinson, 91, of Salem, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Landmark at Oceanview in Beverly following a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Wilfrid A. and Regina (Theriault) Brault.
Born and raised in Salem she was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and Burdette Junior College. A gifted musician and prior to her marriage, Connee played with the Salem Philharmonic Orchestra. For many years she worked as a secretary for several companies in the greater Salem area. Following her retirement, she moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1989 and returned to Salem in 2013.
Throughout Connee’s life she maintained her interest in music especially in violin, piano and dancing. She was also a voracious reader and enjoyed knitting and sewing. While living in Salem, she was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish of Salem.
She is survived by two sons, David J. Wilkinson and his wife Collette of Beverly, Paul B. Wilkinson and his wife Cheryl of Swampscott, two daughters, Anne Gavin and her husband David of Framingham, Kristin Guido and her husband Paul of Salem. She also leaves seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a niece and three nephews. She was predeceased by her son Karl C. Wilkinson and her brother Conrad R. Brault.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, 251 Cabot St., Beverly on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:30 AM. An hour of visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea church on Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Burial will be private.
