Worcester – William G. Thomson, 75, died on Friday, February 8th in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after a long illness.
Mr. Thomson is survived by his wife, Erin K. (O’Connell) Thomson; 6 children, William Thomson, Dylan Thomson, Sean Thomson, Susan Thomson, Lori Puzo and Kyla Thomson all of Worcester; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a longtime friend, Cheryl MacIntosh.
He was born in Bournemouth, England son of the late Nicholas and Camilla (McKeag) Thomson and is also predeceased by a son Michael Thomson.
Mr. Thomson was a dedicated employee for the CRAW Fish Company where he worked in many capacities including as a driver. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing but he loved music, especially the rock genre and the group Pink Floyd.
Private funeral services are being held and Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. is assisting the family with arrangements.
