New Bedford – Natalie M. (Paiva) Spooner, age 73, of Dartmouth passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital peacefully surrounded by her family and friends. She was the wife of the late Millard R. Spooner.
Natalie was born in New Bedford, MA to Manuel and Irene (Amando) Paiva.
She had been employed as a sales clerk for Sears, as well as a stitcher for States Nightwear. She loved to frequent Sunrise Bakery with her many friends.
Natalie is survived by her children, Darlene Medeiros and her husband, David of S. Dartmouth, John Moniz and his wife, Martha of N. Dartmouth, Cheryl Kirby of PA, Kim Spooner and her husband, Paul Correia of New Bedford and Shawn Tanner; siblings, Peggy Ribeiro of S. Dartmouth, Michael Paiva of New Bedford and the late Joseph Paiva; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Natalie’s services with her cremains will be held on Saturday, February 16th from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home.
