New Bedford – Geraldine M. (Lako) Venezia, age 86, of Fairhaven passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Royal Taber of New Bedford. She was the beloved wife of Peter A. Venezia.
Geraldine was born in Boston, MA to Walter and Martha (Farsarano) Lako. She had worked for Polaroid Company as well as Stop & Shop.
Geraldine is survived by her husband Peter A.Venezia; son, James M.Venezia; grandsons, Kimo Nagatori and Matthew Nagatori; brother, Walter Leyko and other close relatives. She will be laid to rest beside beloved daughter Theresa Nagatori.
A graveside service for Geraldine will take place on Wednesday, February 6th at Knollwood Memorial Park Cemetery located at 321 High Street, Canton, MA at 11:30 A.M. Those who wish to attend her service are kindly asked to meet the family directly at the cemetery.
