Obituary

Victoria (Naum) Peters, of Worcester, died Friday, February 1st in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband, Louis Peters died in 1957. She is survived by her son, Gary Peters and his wife, Linda of Worcester; two daughters, Barbara Moore and her husband, Brett of Charlton and Lee-marie Fadavi and her husband, Abbas of Grafton; eight grandchildren, Michael, Diana and Gregory Peters, Jessica Muradian and her husband, David, Brett Moore, Jr. and his wife, Sarah and Zachary Moore, Nicole Snyder and her husband, Steve and Darab Fadavi; two great grandchildren, Mila Snyder and Grayson Moore and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Sotir and Vangjel Naum and two sisters, Dhora Terova and Helen Soter.

She was born in Drenova, Albania the daughter of Pandi and Dimitroula (Christo) Naum. After her husband's death, she operated Peters Market for several years, she later had a career in textiles before retiring. Mrs. Peters had been an active member of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, its Women's Guild, the Daughters of St. Mary, the Drenova Society and volunteered at many of the church activities, especially the Albanian Festival.

Her funeral is Tuesday, February 5th with a service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, February 4th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church.
