Alice A. Wentzell, age 86, of Tewksbury and a former Wilmington resident for 52 years passed away peacefully, January 26, 2019. She was the beloved wife for 64 years of Clayton J. L. Wentzell Sr. Born in Cambridge she was the daughter of the late John F. and Katherine (Ficarra) Kelley.
Alice is survived by her children; Clayton J.L. Wentzell Jr. and his wife Diane of Wilmington, Katherine Trebino and her late husband Edmund Trebino of Tewksbury, Jared Wentzell and his wife Lisa of Atkinson, NH, Blaise Wentzell of Wilmington, Derek Wentzell and his wife Theresa of Pelham, NH, Daren Wentzell and his wife Lisa of Hudson, NH. Alice is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
In addition to her late parents and son-in-law, Alice is predeceased by her brother, Jack F. Kelley and his late wife Elta, sister Marilyn Loadwick and her late husband Edwin.
Alice's greatest joy in life was her family. Nothing made her happier than to be with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She cherished her time with them all. In her leisure time Alice enjoyed knitting, crochet and arts and crafts. She made Christmas Stockings for all her family members. She also made beautiful afghans, latch hook rugs and macramé chairs with Harley Davidson decorations. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles. Alice also loved animals and enjoyed caring for her pet cats and dogs. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and those she knew and loved.
In keeping with Alice's wishes, funeral services were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the Dello Russo Family Funeral Service of Wilmington.
