Sebago Maine formerly of Fort Kent Maine


SEBAGO & FORT KENT- Camille Joseph Albert, age 81, passed away on January 24, 2019, at his home peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Winterville Maine on July 15th, 1937, the son of Alonzo and Delia (Pelletier) Albert.

A loving caring husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many. A hard-working family man who always love to help others. He loved to hunt, fish and share his catch with large outdoor fish fries at his camp on St Froid lake with his loving family. He was a lifetime member 4th degree of the Knights of Columbus.

He delivered bread for Country Kitchen Bakery 19 years in Fort Kent Maine area where he developed lifelong friendships. He was owner and operator with his wife Edna of Edna & Camille's Restaurant in Fort Kent Maine for 14 years. Where his employees and many customers became part of the family.

Camille is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edna (Guerrette), his sons: David Albert and his wife Tammy of Wallagrass Maine and their children, Marissa and Garrett, Kurt Albert and his wife Kristi of Sebago Maine and their children Caitlin and fiance Andy, Christopher and his wife Brenna, Seth and fiance Emily and Shane, daughter: Susie Martin and husband Michael of Burlington Connecticut and their children Ryan and fiance Claire, Travis and Mika, and son-in-law Donald Albert-Ames of Orrington Maine.

One of 4 children, Camille is also survived by a sister Betty Jacobs of China Lake Maine and sister-in-law Betty Albert of Quimby Maine.

In addition to his parents Camille was predeceased by his daughter, Cindy Albert-Ames, his brothers: Everett (Francis) and sister, Sally Albert.

Services will be at St Louis Catholic Church of Fort Kent Maine at 11 a.m. on Saturday February 2, 2019. A celebration of life to follow at K of C Hall in Fort Kent Maine.
