Obituary

In Fall River, January 22, 2019, Arthur Vintro, passed away peacefully following a brief illness at the age of 89. Arthur was the husband of the late Anna May (Elmes) Vintro. Arthur was born in East Taunton, the son of the late Joseph & Mary (Simos) Vintro. Arthur resided all his life in East Taunton and Taunton. Arthur served his country honorably during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was employed for IBEW #223 as a journeyman electrician. Arthur enjoyed playing guitar, going fishing, traveling, dining out and entertaining at his cape home in East Falmouth with his friends and family. Arthur is survived by his siblings; Leonard Vintro and his wife Kathleen of Raynham, Joseph Vintro and his wife Janice of Centerville and his late siblings; Natalie Melones and Richard Vintro. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 28th at 2:15pm. at the Bourne National Cemetery. Visiting hours are kindly omitted. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
