Miguel G. Aguiar, age 82, of Fall River, passed away on Monday January 21, 2019. Born in Santa Barbara, Santo Antonio, Alem Capelas, São Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late João Rebelo and Maria Angelina (Gonsalves) Aguiar and husband of the late Maria Benvinda (do Rego) Aguiar. He was a simple man who enjoyed his music and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his 6 children: John Aguiar (wife Fatima), Joe Aguiar, Maria L. Correia (husband Richard), Eddie Aguiar, Ana Aguiar, & Louie Aguiar all of Fall River; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on THURSDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours WEDNESDAY 4-7 P.M.
