Jeanne L. Trank, 76, of Woonsocket died Monday January 14, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the loving wife of the late Peter G. Trank Sr. who passed away in 1997.
Born and raised in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Aurelian Edgar and Margaret (Beland) Fontaine. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life and also lived in South Carolina for several years.
In her earlier years Jeanne worked at the Bocce Club Restaurant and also worked in the local jewelry industry.
Jeanne was an avid bingo player. She was crazy about anything and everything having to do with Elvis; as far as Jeanne was concerned Elvis was and always will be the King of Rock ‘n Roll. Jeanne was also adept at crocheting and knitting.
Jeanne will be remembered for her love and care for her family, they were truly the center of her life.
She is survived by her sons Peter Trank (wife Dawn) and Edgar Trank (wife Lauri) all of South Carolina, daughters Kathy Trank of VA and Shelia Ouellette of CT. She was the mother of the late Normand and Donald Trank. She was the sister of Edgar, Gerald, Robert and Donald Fontaine, Patricia Deslauriers and Lorraine Bodwewll and the late Richard and Paul Fontaine. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their families.
