Judy “Pooh” Zsarnay, 75, of Santa Paula, California, left this earth on January 13, 2019 at home in Santa Paula. Judy was born in Chatham, Ohio to Michael and Lillian Esterle on August 27, 1943. She went to Cloverleaf Senior High School in Lodi, Ohio and graduated in 1961.
Judy is survived by her immediate family: son Christopher Zsarnay, daughter in-law Lois, granddaughter Abby; son Jeff Zsarnay Sr., grandsons Jeffery & Zack; brother Mike Esterle, sister-in-law Judi, nephews Keith & Kurt ; sister-in-law Rita Esterle, nephew Matt and niece Denise and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her life partner Kenny Dezendorf, parents Michael and Lillian Esterle, brother Denny Esterle and nephew Mark Esterle.
Judy was a loving, caring, giving and selfless person that loved gardening and cooking. For 20 years prior to moving to Santa Paula, she drove semi-truck cross country with her life partner Kenny Dezendorf.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of love that Judy has received from both family and friends.
There will be a celebration of life at “Pooh’s Kitchen” in Santa Paula in leu of funeral services. Date to be determined.
