Obituary

Paul B. Consoletti of Cumberland, Rhode Island and formerly of Franklin and Medway, died January 13 in the Philip Hulitar Hospice in Providence at the age of 62.

Born in Milford on February 24, 1956, the son of the late Benjamin Consoletti and Patricia Dow, Mr. Consoletti was raised in Medway and was a 1974 graduate of Medway High School. As a teenager, Paul worked at St. Joseph Church in Medway, doing odd jobs and cutting the grass at the cemetery.
He was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and raised his family in Franklin for many years before moving to Cumberland.

Paul was a lifelong salesman of auto equipment and repair information, most recently for the Hunter Engineering Company.

When not working, Paul enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, working out, and most of all being in the company of his beloved grandchildren.

He was the brother of Carol Matzner of Hopedale and Patricia Plante of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He was predeceased by his sister Michelle Nicholson.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Consoletti and his wife Katherine of Stoughton and Sean Consoletti and his wife Caitlin of Blackstone.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aubrey, Gabriella, and Cameron Consoletti, and by many other loving friends and family.

His funeral will be held on Friday, January 18 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1702 East Highland Ave Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016 to continue his tradition of loving children and supporting others.
