Sandra Jean (Ritter) Robinson
Santa Paula, CA
Sandra Robinson passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019. After battling an illness for some time, she passed away in the comfort of her home with her children Darlene Parker and Mark Robinson by her side. She is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, free from pain and suffering.  Sandra was born on August 25, 1944 and was raised in Madison, Wisconsin by her parents John and Dorthy Ritter, with her siblings Jackie Mueller, Bill Ritter and John Ritter. At the age of three,  Sandra survived tuberculosis meningitis, but due to the illness, lost her hearing. At a young age, Sandra became apart of the deaf culture and its activities. In school, Sandra participated in various activities such as the girls athletic association, the pep squad,  bowling team, and the Junior National Association of the Deaf. At the age of 16, Sandra and her parents moved to California to explore different opportunities and a more diverse culture. While she attended California School of the Deaf in Riverside she had cultivated life long friends. After high school in 1966 she married Mark L. Robinson and had two children, Darlene and Mark. Sandra was able to care for her family at home in northern California.  In 1984, She moved with her family to Hesperia, Ca. Then in 1986, she parted ways with Mark L. Robinson and moved to Santa Paula. For the next 33 years, Sandra became rooted inSanta Paula and became involved with her community, she loved living by the beach and she grew to love the town. Even now, people still comment on how friendly, kind and cheerful she was. People will always remember her for her smile and how her face lit up when she saw them. Sandra loved to be around and to care for people. Sandra was a good example of a Christian woman. With her strong Faith, people could witness her love for Jesus. She was quick to forgive and also to ask for forgiveness. On her free time her favorite activities were visiting with friends and family, playing cards, plastic canvas stitching, puzzles, shopping at thrift stores, and collecting angels. Although Sandra has left us to be with Jesus, she will always be remembered in our hearts. She was proceeded in death by her parents John and Dorthy Ritter. Sandra is survived by her children,  Darlene Parker of Apple Valley, Ca: Mark Robinson of Santa Paula, CA. Grandchildren: Johnathan Parker, Ashley Yoder (husband Justin), and Brittany Salsberry (husband Patrick). Great-grandchildren: Logan, Edward, and Delilah. Sister, Jackie Mueller(husband Mike Mueller) of Visalia, Ca; Brothers- William “Bill” Ritter(wife Shelia) of Hereford, AZ: John Ritter (wife Pam) of San Clemente, CA.  and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be Saturday February 2, 2019.

mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
