Felice Casazza, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family Sunday, January 13th. He was 91. Born and raised in Calvi, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe Casazza and Luisa (Bonavita) Casazza.
Felice was an expert when it came to gardening. A green thumb came naturally, his yard always looked beautiful. He was extremely dedicated to his garden, planting tomatoes, green beans, watermelon and his famous faba beans.
When Felice was not in his garden, he was spending time with his family they were his pride and joy. He was a devoted husband, dedicated father, loving grandfather and great-grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Felice was the beloved husband of the late Pasqualina (Bonavita) Casazza. He was the devoted father of Alfonso Casazza and his wife Carmeline of Stoneham, and Gerry J. Casazza and his wife Danielle of Saugus. He was the loving grandfather of Felice G. Casazza and his wife Melissa, Vincenzo Casazza and his wife Irene, all of Stoneham, and Roman M. Casazza of Saugus. He is also survived by his five loving great-grandchildren Eva, Rocco, Massimo, Enzo and Ariana.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, January 16th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. Services to conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Everett.
