John M. Boczanowski, Jr., 70, of Medway died unexpectedly on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Dick) Boczanowski since 1970.
Born in Milford on October 9, 1948, he was the son of the late John J. and Florence (Jerzylo) Boczanowski.
John was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1966. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UMass - Dartmouth.
John was the owner of Restoration Supply, a tractor parts company, in Hopedale since 1991.
He was a former president of the St. Joseph Men’s Club and was a former member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Finance Committee in Medway.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son John Boczanowski, III of Medway and Lisa Boczanowski of Hooksett, NH.
He is also survived by three brothers, Vincent Boczanowski of Medway, Philip Boczanowski of San Diego, CA and Paul Boczanowski of Livermore, CA, two sisters, Barbara Conroy of Bellingham and Diane Ghera of Medway and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.
He was the brother of the late Cynthia Davis and Michael Boczanowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of His Life on Saturday, January 19 at 1 PM at the Franklin Elks Club, 1077 Pond St. in Franklin.
