Cumberland – Lorraine M. Lachance, 90, of Cumberland died Sunday January 6, 2019 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island in Providence. She was the wife of the late Normand W. Lachance who passed away in 1997.
Born in Hartford, CT she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Laura J. (Mullen) Daigle.
Mrs. Lachance was employed at Allendale Insurance and later worked for Factory Mutual Insurance and FM Global Corporation for many years before retiring.
She was a longtime member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Cumberland.
Lorraine is survived by several relatives and her longtime friend and caregiver Gene M. Gauthier and his family.
Her funeral service will be Friday January 11, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
