John Joseph Silva , 78, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Sudbury, died December 16, 2018. Beloved husband of Janet (Crossley) Silva. Dedicated father to James Crossley Silva and his wife Karen of The Villages, FL. Son of the late Joseph Hooker Silva and Edith Ella (French) Silva. Brother of Bette Jean Aia of Stormville, NY, Claire Alice Sousa of Billerica, MA, Malcolm Robert Silva of Saugus, MA, George Warren Silva of Portsmouth, NH and the late Lorraine Edith Barry, Joan Elsie Bishop and Carole Ann Banks. John spent over 38 years in commercial banking with Fleet National Bank and its predecessor institutions. John enjoyed his Florida home tremendously and the time he spent with friends and family. Some of his favorite activities included bowling, playing cribbage, and following Boston sports teams. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Sunday, January 6 at 1:30 P.M in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common. Visiting hour beginning 12:30 PM one hour prior to the service.
