Gennea A. “Anna Jenny” Perella of Wrentham died on Wednesday, December 5, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Born in Boston’s South End, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Carapellucci) Perella. Anna lived for many years in Palmer before moving to Wrentham.
She was the dear sister of Rose Mahoney and her husband Edward of Stoneham, the late Mario Perella and his late wife Mary, the late Rosina Perella, the late Dominic F. Perella and his surviving wife Sylvia of Belmont, and the late Joseph M. Perella and his surviving wife Genevieve of Norwood. Anna is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as family and caregivers at the Wrentham Developmental Center.
A funeral service will be held at the St. Michael Cemetery Chapel, 500 Canterbury St, Boston, on Tuesday, December 11 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Anna's name to the Friends of Wrentham, P.O. Box 865, Wrentham, MA 02093.
