Marilyn F. Foley, age 93, of Canton passed away December 4th at the Norwood Hospital. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and attended N. Quincy High School and has lived in Canton for the last 61 years. She worked in the Cafeteria at Canton High School for several years and was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a longtime parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton and former member and Past President of the Canton Catholic Women’s Club. Marilyn was a great cook and an avid Boston Red Sox and Boston Sports Fan.
Beloved wife of Joseph W. Mother of Susan F. Mathena and her husband Thomas of Canton, David W. Foley and his wife Karen of Canton, Thomas J. Foley and his wife Carol of Canton and Mark J. Foley and his wife Shelley of Holbrook. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton Monday morning at 10 am. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
