Mary L. “Mae” Sawicki, 85 of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Tewksbury, MA passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at All American Assisted living of Londonderry, surrounded by her loving family. Mae was born May 17, 1933 in Somerville, MA and was a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (McFall) Bullen. She was raised and educated in Somerville and with her beloved husband Chester, raised their family in Tewksbury where they resided for 25 years, prior to relocating to North Berwick, ME.
Mae was employed as an accounting clerk with the Prince Spaghetti Company of Lowell, MA for 15 years. She was an avid gardener, loved music and singing and will forever be remember as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all.
Mae leaves behind three children and their spouses, her daughter Cheryl & John Emery of North Berwick, ME, son, Michael & Peggi Sawicki of Pelham, NH and daughter Mary & Brian Conroy of Alton, NH, daughter-in-law Kathy Sawicki of Merrimac, MA, 17 grandchildren, Carole, Heidi, Michael, Erin, Daniel, Joseph, Patrick, Brendan, Jonathan, Madison, Caitlin, Kathleen, Caleigh, Michaela, Samantha, Terri and Laura, 10 great grandchildren, Michael, Nathanial, Anastasia, Hope, Santana, Everett, Anna, Miles, Amelia and Sierra and one great, great grandchild, Everlee, her sister Irene Morris, of Somerville. Mae was predeceased by her beloved husband of 32 years Chester Sawicki in 1982, she was also predeceased by her sons, Chester Sawicki and Mark Sawicki, brothers, Richard, William, Thomas and James Bullen and her sister Norma Lynch.
Calling hours were held Sunday December 2, 2018 from 1 to 5 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Churc in Derry. Private burial was in Hillside Cemetery, North Berwick, ME.
