KEEFE, Kenneth E. Of South Weymouth formerly of Dedham, November 23, 2018. Beloved husband of Joanne Walsh Close Keefe. Devoted father of Katherine Psilakis of Sherborn, Paul Keefe of Pawtucket, RI, and Edward Keefe of Walpole. Step-father of Cheryl McGanty of Plymouth, Christina Close of Boston, and William Close of North Hollywood, CA.
Ken grew up in the Roslindale section of Boston before moving to Dedham where he raised his children.
Ken worked for Greyhound Lines in Boston for 25 years as Assistant Terminal Manager, the best job he ever had. He was beloved by his employees for his consideration, fairness and understanding. He also worked for the MBTA for 10 years.
He enjoyed the four homes, which he renovated and landscaped; he was a magnificent stone wall builder. Ken was also a great consult person re: financial planning, relationships, colors, landscaping, and clothes, etc.
He loved his children, the ocean, Wedgeport Nova Scotia, and especially his wife Joanne of 38 years. His step children were very thankful to have him in their lives. He will be greatly missed by all.
