William Boone, Jr., age 92, of Sharon passed away November 8th at the Norwood Hospital. Born and raised in Shreveport, LA he attended Shreveport High School and has lived in Sharon since 1959. He worked as a Sky Cap Captain for American Airlines at Boston Logan Airport for 40 years before retiring. Beloved husband of the late Annie Grace (Jackson). Father of William T. Boone of Reno, NV, Gerald L. Boone of Providence, RI and Patricia B. Melson of Sharon. Grandfather of Jennifer N. Melson of Sharon and Theron D. Boone of Reno, NV. Brother of Morell Boone of LA and the late Katie Bell Boone and Dorothy Boone. A private graveside service was held at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church 2 S. Main St. Sharon, MA 02067.
