Maurice A. "Bubba" Banks, 60, of New Bedford died November 7, 2018 unexpectedly at home.
Born in San Diego, CA, son of Elizabeth (Hyman) Cecilio of New Bedford and the late Marcus Glenn Banks, he lived in New Bedford most of his life.
Bubba was employed as a longshoreman with I.L.A. Local 1413 in New Bedford.
He enjoyed playing pool and chess. He was an Oakland Raiders and Minnesota Vikings fan.
Survivors include his mother; 2 brothers, Warren Cecilio of Richmond, TX and Wayne Cecilio and his wife Jessica of Bakersfield, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
His visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 11th from 2-6 PM in the the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
