Cindi (Jorritsma) MacLean, age 60 of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the fiancée of Jack Basler of Bridgewater.
Cindi was born in Quincy and raised in Brockton, a daughter of April Amiro of Brockton and the late Willard Jorritsma of Hingham and step-daughter of Jack Amiro of Brockton. She was a 1976 graduate of Brockton High School and received her Associate Degree from Massasoit Community College.
At the time of her illness she worked for Medical Oncology and Hemotology in Brockton. Previously, she had worked at Brockton Hospital for 22 years.
Cindi was an avid reader and loved her garden, camping and most importantly time spent with her granddaughters.
In addition to her parents and fiancé she is survived by 2 daughters, Katie and Kelley MacLean, both of Brockton; her siblings, Mary Walcott of Brockton, Bill Jorritsma of Wareham and Jim Jorritsma of Carver. She was the loving “Nina” of Kiley and Olivia. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St (Rte 123), Brockton on Saturday, November 10, 2018 12-3pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Cindi’s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
