Rose M. (Yafrate) Churchill, born May 26, 1926 has passed peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital on November 5th.
A longtime resident of East Bridgewater, Rose made every minute count, whether she was knitting, crocheting, playing cards, cooking, bowling or tending to the garden. Rose was also an active member with the Seniors in East Bridgewater. However her favorite times were spent with family.
Rose is survived by her four sons; Raymond Churchill of Middleboro; Paul Churchill and Diane Leighton of East Bridgewater, David and Doreen Churchill of Middleboro, and Louis and Brenda Churchill of East Bridgewater. Rose was also a loving step mother to the late Robert Churchill, William Churchill and Albert Churchill. She is survived by several grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many more nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services will be held on Friday November 9th at 9:00AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00AM in the St John’s Church, East Bridgewater. Interment will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be held on Thursday November 8th from 4:00-8:00PM.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held after the burial at the Citizens Club, 66 Hale St, Bridgewater, MA 02324
