Doreen F. Harlow, 75

Doreen F. (Bouchard) Harlow, age 75, of Norton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Bradford W. Harlow, Sr., to whom she was wed for fifty-one years.
Born in Attleboro, MA on October 4, 1943, she was a loving daughter of the late John Bouchard and Barbara (Martin) Maddocks, and the stepdaughter of the late Sidney Maddocks.
Doreen grew up in Plainville and was a 1961 graduate of King Phillip High School in Wrentham. She continued her studies, graduating in 1965 from Bridgewater State College with a bachelor’s in education Degree.
A resident of Norton for the past forty-nine years, Mrs. Harlow was a retired second grade teacher having taught at the L G Nourse Elementary School in Norton for twenty years. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Lynne A. Harlow of Providence, RI and B.J. Harlow of Raynham. She was the cherished grandmother of Lena Haber, Jamie Harlow and Alexis Harlow. She was the dear sister of Nila Smith of Mashpee, Stacy Hulbert of Greensboro, NC and the late Nancy Davignon.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday, November 1st from 5:00-7:00 P.M.at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
Services will be private and in lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen’s memory may be made to Girls, Inc, of Taunton, 131 Arlington St., Taunton, MA 02780.
