In Fall River, of Assonet October 17, 2018 Phyllis M. (Pittsley) Cambra wife of Joseph Cambra died at Charlton Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. Born in Assonet, Phyllis was the daughter of the late David and Madeline (Haskins) Pittsley. Phyllis enjoyed the Red Sox, going to Foxwoods and especially taking care of her grandchildren. She was the mother of Ronald Cambra and his wife Katherine of FL, Janet Ponte of New Bedford, Kathryn Cruz and her husband Thomas Nelson of Assonet, Susan Schader and her husband Michael of Assonet, Betsy Moquin and her husband James of PA and the late Marjorie Diaz. Grandmother of sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Sister of the late David Pittsley Jr. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton from 2-4 pm on Saturday, October 27th. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
