Obituary


Jason W. Martineau, 43, of Salem, passed away, with his family at his side, at Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital in Boston following a brief illness. He was the son of Bernard J. and Ginette M. (Richard) Martineau of Salem.
Born and raised in Salem, Jason had a varied work career during his all too short life. He first worked for US Food Service and later was employed as a nationwide truck driver for J.B. Hunt Company. Following Hunt, he became a contractor for FED EX Ground Division for the next several years. Jason was currently employed by Home Depot in Salem as a night stockroom clerk. He was a member of Ste. Anne Parish of Salem.
In addition to his parents, Bernard and Ginette, he is survived by his brother, Richard J. Martineau also of Salem, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his family, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Avenue, Salem at 11:00 AM. There will be no visiting hours. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Northeast Animal Shelter, Inc., 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
