FARREN, John M. of Winthrop, passed away on October 18, 2018. He was 86 years old. Beloved husband of Doris M. (Beaulieu) Farren. Devoted father of Michael J. Farren and his companion Terry Visconti, Linda S. Keller and her husband Richard, Patrick J. Farren and his wife Deborah, Sean K. Farren and is companion Grace Adrole all of Winthrop and Kerry A. Stetson and her husband Rokie of Jacksonville, NC. Adored grandfather of Steven, John, Jessica and Eric Keller, Marisa Farren, Tyler Farren and Bryan, Erica, Michael, Nicolas and Rokie, Jr Stetson. Dear brother of Gloria Duval of Winthrop and the late Geraldine Farren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Tuesday, October 23 at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be in St John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday from 4-8pm. He was a life member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078. Prior to his retirement, John was an employee for the Town of Winthrop in the Water Dept.
