Obituary

Ann J. (Armata) Wiles 78, of Natick died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital.
She was the beloved wife for 56 years of the late Charles F. Wiles, Jr. who died in 2015.
A Natick resident for 60 years, she was born in East Boston the daughter of the late William and Mary (Gulinello) Armata.
Mrs. Wiles was the Administrative Assistant for the Town of Natick’s Selectman’s and Town Administrators Office for 25 years. Ann’s dedicated, responsive and highly skilled service was well appreciated by citizens who needed help or guidance on issues and by her coworkers in Town Hall. She previously was employed by the Natick Answering Service.
Ann enjoyed spending time at the ocean in Wells, Maine with her family, and trying her luck at the slot machines at various New England’s casinos.
She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and was very involved in attending their school and sports activities.  She was an avid Red Sox fan and will be cheering them on in the World Series from Heaven.
She is survived by her daughter Lauren Wiles Pelser of Westborough, son Michael Wiles and his wife Donna of Medway, five grandchildren; Julie, Amanda and Matthew Wiles, twin granddaughters, Kathryn and Emma Pelser; a brother Tommy Armata and his wife Joyce of Houston TX; a sister Lorraine Armata of Huntington Beach, CA; sisters in law Marcia Wiles, Linda DeLorey; her lifelong dear friend Nancy Walker of Natick, and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also the sister of the late Billy Armata.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Wednesday October 24th at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Westborough, 120 West Main Street Westborough.
Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery Natick.
Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common are Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Ann’s memory to the First United Methodist Church of Westborough Building Fund, 120 West Main Street, Westborough, MA 01581.
