Eleanor R. “Ellie” (Courchine) Webster, age 78, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Ronald B. Webster.
Born in Attleboro, MA on June 2, 1940, she was a loving daughter of the late Oscar and Harriet (Dingle) Courchine.
Ellie grew up and was educated in Norton. She had made her home in Mansfield for the past fifty-six years, and prior to retiring had worked as a press operator at Texas Instrument in Attleboro.
Ellie treasured the times spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved spending time in Dennisport, baking, yard saling, listening to country western music and apple picking in North Adams, MA.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her devoted children; Donna K. Linfield and her husband Larry, Ronald B. Webster, Jr. and his wife Susan, James A. Webster and his wife Jennifer and Sheri A. Webster all of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of Dorothy Spittell of Attleboro, Lawrence Courchine of Attleboro, Everett Courchine of North Carolina, Grace Puopolo of Abington, Carol Sanders of Rhode Island, David Courchine of Norton, Dennis Courchine of Rhode Island, Betty Robinson of Foxboro, Barbara Coe of Foxboro, and the late Eugene Courchine and Mary Grylls. She is also survived by her loving 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday, October 22nd at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 21st from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
