Lucy M (Cella) McKinley 69 of Natick died Tuesday October 16, 2018 at the Metro West Medical Center, Framingham.
She was the beloved wife for 35 years of the late Paul R. McKinley who died in 2016.
A Natick resident for 38 years, she was born in Framingham the daughter of the late Desidero and Dorothy (Crisafulli) Cella.
Mrs. McKinley was a manager in the Human Resource Department at Bose Corporation in Framingham for 41 years retiring in 2014. She also assisted her husband Paul in managing his business, Magic Fire Inc. for many years and continued operating it until August of this year.
Lucy was proud of her Italian Heritage and was an active member of the Natick Sons of Italy.
She was the club's Financial Secretary from 2007 to 2017 and on the Board of Directors in 2017. She also was a member of the club's Scholarship Committee.
Lucy enjoyed spending time with her family, extensive world travel with her husband, playing Mahjong with the ladies, and making fun trips to Foxwoods. She was a talented cook , avid reader and liked a variety of board and word games.
She is survived by one son Richard Bostick and his wife Jessica of Hudson, one daughter Lisa Choate and her husband Bobby of Gainesville GA, one grandson Scott Prim of Gainesville GA, one sister Alice Tabellione and her husband Joseph of Unionville CT, one brother Charles Cella and his wife Catherine of Ellington CT. She is also survived by many close and loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lucy was a devoted wife and mother, loved and admired by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday October 20th at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St George Church Framingham at 10 A.M.
Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
