Alice M. (Stone) Melanson, 93, of Somerville died on Sunday, October 14, at Somerville Hospital. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Harry B. and Rose Stone. Family was everything to Alice, and she loved spending time with her children, her grandchildren, her great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Alice was the beloved wife of the late Peter J. Melanson, and the devoted mother of Linda Dold of Somerville, William H. Campbell, Peter J. Melanson Jr., and Stephen P. Melanson, all of Virginia, Paul Melanson of Bellingham, MA, and the late Alice "Queenie" Stone. She was the loving grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 12 and great great grandmother of 2.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, October 22 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visiting hours Sunday, October 21, from 3 through 7 PM.
