Obituary

Pauline J. Hopfgarten (Welter) of Canton passed away October 14th at Orchard Cove in Canton surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jamaica Plain, she attended Boston Schools and has lived in Canton since 1958. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed roller skating and tap dancing.
Mother of Rudy Hopfgarten of Easton, Paul Hopfgarten of Kingston, Ann-Marie Currier and her husband Richard of Halifax, and Barbara F. Cavanagh and her husband Jay of Canton. Sister of Ann Gravel of Ipswich. Pauline is also survived by her longtime companion George Fredette of Attleboro and her 5 grandchildren Jonathan Hopfgarten, Cori-Rose Hopfgarten, Amanda Libby, James Cavanagh and Cameron Currier. Funeral Service in the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday morning at 11:00. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM. Burial Forest Hills Cemetery.
