FALL RIVER – Idalina “Ida” (Correia) Cabral, 93 of Fall River, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel M. Cabral & the daughter of the late Antone S. & Anna (Tavares) Correia. Prior to retiring, Ida worked as a Sales Associate for the former Virginia Dare Co. for almost 14 years. Previously, she was a nurses’ aide.
She is survived by her 2 sons: Russell M. Cabral of Cool, CA & Thomas Cabral (wife Veronica) of Fall River; sister: Alice C. Cabeceiras of Fall River; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Ida was the mother of the late Paula Harrington & the sister of the late Joseph S., Adelino S., Manuel S. & Arthur S. Correia, Lena Mello, Mary Travis & Dorothy C. Castro.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River WEDNESDAY with calling hours 8-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. www.rogersfuneral.com.
