LIMERICK- Dorothy J. LaFavre of Limerick, ME, formerly of Rockland, MA passed away on October 11, 2018 after a short illness. She was the wife of Gregg LaFavre of 44 years and mother to Jennifer Bowler and husband Matthew of Danvers, MA and Kristen Ryan and fiance, Fred Matta of Weymouth, MA. She was the loving grandmother to Taylor Ryan, Timothy and David Bowler. She was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Ethel O' Neil of Kingston, MA. Survived by a sister Diane Geldmacher and her husband Russell of Pembroke, MA and a brother Lawrence E. O'Neil and wife Theresa of Rockland, MA. She also is survived by Paul LaFavre and wife Diane, Meredith, NH, Doug LaFavre and wife Paula, Braintree, MA and Linda Demarco and husband John of Brockton, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. After relocating from MA three years ago, she volunteered at the Line School in Newfield as a Foster Grandparent and enjoyed her time working with the elementary school children.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday Oct. 16 from 3 - 5 PM at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish.
