Paul Francis Precourt of Norton died at the age of 68 after a brief illness. An electrical contractor from Norton Massachusetts Paul was known for his infectious smile, his white head of hair, deep Christian faith, and love of a good time.

Born January 30, 1950 to the late Ernest and Ethel Precourt, Paul was the middle child in a family of 7 boys, a 1969 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School, he later went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. Upon his return, he went to work for his family at Precourt Electric.

Through the years Paul worked as an electrical contractor, general contractor building houses, and sold real estate. Over the last 15+ years Paul has had the responsibility to get “the lights on” at LaSalette Shrine’s annual Festival of Lights in Attleboro, he was known as the man behind the lights Paul took tremendous pride in his work at LaSalette Shrine. He worked tirelessly each Fall to get the lights ready so that each day during the holiday season hundreds of children, families, and others could see the spectacle that is LaSalette Shrine of Attleboro, MA.

Paul was a man of deep faith, he was a regular fixture at mass at both St. Mary’s in Norton and LaSalette in Attleboro. Paul said his prayers each morning and night, often helping the priests, nuns, and elderly in and around Attleboro with anything and everything.

Of all that was important to Paul, was that of his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years Anna (Gerraughty) Precourt; His daughter Ayanna Pearson and son in law Chris Pearson of Attleboro; Son Ernest and daughter in law Kim Precourt of Dennisport; Son Christopher and daughter in law Elena Precourt of Sharon; Son Justin and daughter in law Rebecca of Arlington. More importantly he leaves behind the loves of his life, his 11 grandchildren: Polina, Lillia, Nella, Riley, Samantha, Cassidy, Josephine, Bridget, Teagan, Natalie, and his first grandson Grant. Over the last few months Paul would be seen walking around LaSalette taking a break from work with his daughter Ayanna and his “little buddy” Grant. Always with a smile on his face and the proud look of a happy grandpa.
