Robert T. Tyrrell, age 86, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday October 6, 2018. He was the husband of the late Olive (Coroa) Tyrrell, and son of the late James and Annie (Millerick) Tyrrell. Robert was a supervisor for the Parking Meter Maintenance for the City of Fall River Traffic Division. He was also the past president for the Corky Row Club, and the North Park Little League and was an avid Yankees fan much to the displeasure of his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children; Chrisanne Tyrrell (longtime companion John Anderson), and Jamie Tyrrell, grandchildren; Nicole A. Ricker (husband Steve), Daniel J. Tyrrell (wife Meaghan) and Andrew P. Tyrrell, great grandchildren; Norah Quinn Tyrrell, and Erin Mae Tyrrell, former daughter-in-law Diana (Belmore) Tyrrell, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late PVT James W. Tyrrell, and Helen Hayes.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Mary’s Cathedral at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Wednesday from 5-9 P.M.
