Vitagliano, Joseph G.
Of West Yarmouth, previously of Natick and East Cambridge. Born on September 5th, 1929 in East Cambridge to the late Carmine and Angelina (Alfano). Died at the age of 89 on October 4th at home surrounded by family, after a long battle with kidney failure and complications from diabetes.
Beloved husband of Louise (Camelio), devoted father to Linda of Natick, Joseph of Plantation, FL, Marie McDonough of Hampton, NH, and Jean Brusco of Milford, MA. Loving grandfather to Meghan Fulmer, Caitlin Sweeney, Krista and Jenna Vitagliano. Also great grandfather to Lillian & Joseph Fulmer, Alexandra Petok and Hadley Sweeney. Pre-deceased by his siblings, Michael, Frank, John and James. Survived by sisters Rae and Helen.
Former Veteran of the Korean War, member of Amvets and Natick Elks and long term employee of the A&P Grocery Chain.
A funeral mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 8th at St. Patrick’s Church, 44 E. Central Street, Natick, MA. Visitation for family and friends prior to the church service from 8:45-9:45 at the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, MA. (www.everettfuneralhome.com), 508-653-4342.
Burial will be private.
